The Radnor Autumn Fair returns to the market square this month, and organisers say it will be the biggest yet after last year’s event was cut short by rain.
The craft row has been extended along the top of the square, and a second food area will run beside the Guildhall to ease the queues that formed last time.
What to expect on the day
The programme leans on the things that actually pull a crowd in Radnor rather than novelty for its own sake.
- Craft and produce stalls from ten in the morning
- The inter-village tug-of-war, back after a year off
- A children’s trail with prizes from local shops
- Live music on the Guildhall steps through the afternoon
Parking on the square will be suspended from early morning, with the overflow field on the Llanfair road opened for the day. Organisers are still looking for volunteers to help with setup and are asking anyone able to lend two hours to get in touch through the fair committee.
